Not so great
1/5 After driving 8 hours to get here we pull up to what we thought was going to be a great time. Instead the upstairs toilet didn’t work, the water smelt so horribly of sewer that you couldn’t bath or brush your teeth. Manger told me “welcome to the beach, honey”. I’ve visited beaches all my life, all up and down the gulf and never had a house or hotel that’s water was this bad. No Wi-Fi and the manager informed me that wasn’t her problem. The house swayed really bad. Especially when the air conditioner cut on. Plus there was roaches in the kitchen and bathroom areas. After trying to talk to the manger she accused me of wanting something free. She was hostile and didn’t want to hear anything I said. Maintenance showed up and informed us that there was nothing he could do about the toilet or water. That he had already informed the property owner that a filtration system needed to be installed if they were going to have guests. The house was great except for those things. If it hadn’t of been for the water, we would have happily stayed. The other issues were not as bad. But after the manager was completely unprofessional and insulting, we no longer wanted to be there afraid that she would show up and cause problems. Wanting to try some where new this year, we decided to just stick to where we know in the future.
