• It could be better

  The good: perfect location, staying here we were able to visit all the beaches from port la vaca to port aransas.

  Water front to go fishing was perfect we had so much fun.

  The bad: the house was dirty, ceiling fans were super dirty, all the furniture looks like they were never dusted, and when the ac was on we all started sneezing because of the dust, I suffer from allergies so all week i could not sleep.

  Floor is uneven and when you walk it feels like you’re gonna go through it.

  The lightning of the house is bad, it looks dark even with all the lights on.

  We founded dead roaches in the floor and on the kitchen cabinets.

  Floor was sticky.

  The sofas are not warming, they’re so old and dirty that you don’t want to lay on them.

  The place has potential but it definitely needs attention.

  - The cleaners take pride in ensuring the home is clean before each new guest arrives by double-checking their work before they depart. If you had concerns about the cleanliness, bringing it to our attention would have helped resolve the issue.
  - The house is professionally exterminated every three months. Being on the water, this is a necessity and never missed.
  - All of the floors except one bedroom have been replaced. The house is on pier and beam, and the house settles. The floor is perfectly secure, but the linoleum has warped. We plan to replace it in the future.
  - There are storm blinds on the house, which guests typically like to open in order to see the water. Our instructions explain how the light switches work, so we are sorry that the lighting affected your stay.
  
  We wish you had called during your stay. We would have addressed your issues because we want our guests to feel comfortable, safe, and appreciated.

• Birthday rental

  We rented this house for my birthday. We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. House is in great location. It was very clean. Fully stocked with everything we could ever need. Renter is wonderful and checked on us after a big storm. Fishing was good. We should have rented a boat.bwe will next time. We went to a few restaurants near. They were good. Would definitely go again.

• Perfect for Fishermen and Families

  This property was very comfortable for my 3 friends/family and I. We were in the area for a fishing trip and the house easily accommodated the 4 of us, my truck and all of our gear. Communication with the owner was easy, initiated well before check-in and was clear and concise. All the appliances to include the washer and dryer worked great. Having Wi-Fi was very useful. We made use of the nearby pier and really enjoyed our visit. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Seadrift.

• Snowbird get-away

  The rental had everything we needed. Roomy and nicely furnished. It is rustic, as described, but that was part of the fun. we had a winter weather problem with water in the house and in the town. But the owners, housekeeper, and the neighbors were right there watching out for us. Spending December in Seadrift was fun and memorable.

• Home away from home

  From the first check in till we had to leave was nothing but amazing! You will have an adventure for sure when you walk in the living room and the peaceful little garden out side. The kitchen has everything you need in it! My only Down fall is don’t sit in the amazing recliner that vibrates in the living room or you WILL be late for fishing, wait till you get back and enjoy the peace the front porch view is perfect and the neighbors are very nice! You don’t want to sit in front that’s okay the back is bliss as well.. can’t wait for our next trip down this is our forever rental! The owners are more than amazing to communicate with and if you have any questions, response time is almost immediate!! Everything was so clean and smelled so good!! Thank you for the great experience
