• Not what we were hoping for.

  Was excited by the photos, disappointed by the reality.

  1.) flooring in kitchen was coming up, our granddaughter ripped open her foot on the screws that were put in the flooring. Small rugs were used to cover this mess.

  2.) Ants everywhere. It was the morning discussion on who got bit the most overnight. We bought bug bombs and set them and sprayed them when we were gone.

  Didn’t help much

  3.) spiders on the dock, we sprayed there to, but there was a bunch.

  4.) BBQ is crap and could not use, very unclean and way small.

  5.) Foosball table didn’t have any balls

  6.) Pool table was missing balls, every cue stick is missing a tip, and it’s being leveled up, (kinda) with paper towels under the legs.

  7.) coffee pot is way small

  8.) 1 bed in master bedroom is broken

  9. There were bugs in two of the three beds in the master bedroom

  10.) utensils were minimal and very unclean.

  Just wasn’t what I would charge as mush as they did for it.

  Owner, was emailed about check in time and got no response.

  Will not stay or recommend this place to anyone

  Overall, we made some amazing memories and had a great time and would definitely come back. However, the flooring in the living room poses a tripping hazard because it is deeply rippled and the area rug hides it. There were several other areas of the floor that could cause tripping or cuts because of screw’s holding flooring in place that is sharp and not flush (maintenance, please do better) or the flooring was uneven (we moved the area kitchen mats to cover that) and there were several soft spots in the floor. The spa was unusable for 2 of our 4-day trip. There is no boat ramp access for the address of this house which is deceiving because you have full access of the boat dock so make sure and do your research to see where you can load and unload your boat. If you fully know what you are coming into, you will certainly have a great time. The place really is nice, it just needs a few repairs.

  My family and I had a great time together and really enjoyed ourselves,only negative thing was the comfort of the mattresses in the back bedrooms was very hard and deformed beside that problem everything was great and will be looking forward to returning in the near future

• Very disappointed in this house!

  About our getaway at the lake house last weekend I could say a lot, but I will focus on the main things. Beginning with the good ones there is a very nice view, and it is great that they have a hot tub. It is very quiet and peaceful environment. On the other side we were very disappointed as soon as we walked in and looked around, house looked like it wasn't cleaned before our arrival, floors were dirty, dust everywhere. The main problem I would say for a house that has a hut tub, were towels which were of very poor quality and very little, so if you decide to stay at this house my advise is to bring your own towels. Another problem was the couch, because if you have so many bedrooms and you expect a certain number of guests I think you have to have a couch big enough to fit at least 5-7 people.The other disappointed thing was the grill and the coffee machine which was filled with old used grounds with mold on top,looked like it wasn't cleaned in weeks, so you will have to go buy coffee in the morning and clean the grill before to use it. There was no laundry detergent at all. Some of the beds were very uncomfortable and made a very loud noise when you sit or turn. But the cherry on the cake was a pair of dirty underwear underneath one of the beds, which is disgusting. In conclusion the house wasn't the one we expected to have, but every experience teaches you something, so we will be more careful in choosing our next trip and pay more attention to the details, because pictures are very pretty but they do not reflect the state of this house at the moment.
