We were pleased with the house overall. Melinda was very accommodating for us since this was a very last minute reservation because the place we’d initially reserved for the weekend had a problem with the AC and our reservation had to be cancelled. So, we were hesitant to book something without reviews but we were glad we did. The house was very clean & the backyard fire pit area was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine & catch up, which we took advantage of each night. The neighbors had a very friendly dog and we had a screech owl that visited us in the trees each night, so that was neat to see.
The beds were very comfortable and the couch is great for napping!
We felt secure and the neighborhood was nice for evening walks as well.
One thing to note, the kitchen is very well stocked, but the wine glasses were stemless. It wasn’t a big deal to us at all, but for some folks it might be so I wanted to point that out. We enjoyed our stay & if this house is ever available when we are in the Hill Country area we’d stay there again.
From the owner: "Hi Sandy, thank you for the 5-star review! We'll get some wine glasses with stems to add to our kitchen items - thank you for pointing that out! We'll also be building a privacy fence on that side of the yard for added privacy. We look forward to having you back!"
