Family vacation
4/5 We had an amazing time.. the house was just like the photos online, the beds was comfortable and we had more than enough space for everyone.. the huge bathroom made easy for everyone to shower after a day at the beach. The games made evening with the family great. The bikes was ok but need air in the tires on one. We enjoy the house but the no curtains or blinds on the back door especially when we share a yard with other guests .. always double check supplies

Awesome Home
5/5 Great time in Galveston, the house was close to the beach, clean and roomy had everything we needed for a great family vacation.. The beds was comfortable, enjoyed the bikes and game night was a blast.. Will stay again
Split decision
3/5 Landscaping nice. Lot of space in the bedrooms to unpack the suitcases and store the clothing, and the beds were comfortable. Living room/breakfast area plenty of space and seating. Shared backyard worthless since there is a tenant in the back unit that has three dogs, two of which constantly barked when outside (and the person's door was constantly open) and made our dog so uncomfortable that she refused to go out back (thank goodness the front yard was "ours"), let alone the dog poop everywhere.AC worked great (just loud).Biggest complaint is the kitchen. Pots and pans were filthy and covered in roach poop (we killed three on arrival), and I had to scrub the three pots/pans I used a lot to just get them clean. The nonstick pans required a lot of oil because they aren't nonstick anymore. Cutting knives were so dull that I found one that was semi-sharp and used it for everything. Coffee pot semi-worked.Galveston water is nasty. Good thing we had a Brita Filtered system from my kid's college dorm room (because of moveout week). Water pressure stunk.Basically, if you intend to eat out all the time, the property is fine. If your intention is to save cash and cook your meals, go somewhere else.

As our listing indicates, we are a dog-friendly property, so we kindly request guests to be prepared for that and feel free to bring their furry companions along.
- It's important to us that guests have all the amenities necessary for their stay. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the lack of pots and pans in the kitchen. 4/5 I spent a week here. The house’s location is within easy walking distance to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Only drawback was there’s also another rental in the backyard of the lot. The occupants during my stay were usually inside or out on the town during my stay but it did take away from the feeling of a private, fenced in backyard like the one in the ad photos. Also, there isn’t a curtain for the patio door windows so you have to rig something up or else anyone can look straight into the living room.
