Such a wonderful stay!
5/5 This house is amazing! My family of nine stayed for five days and we was beyond comfortable. We did see comments about Wi-Fi and thought we would get to unplug but the wifi worked pretty well! The decor was beautiful and just felt at home in the house! Only downfall was the steps to the lake but with a couple stops you can make it! I want to thank the owners for opening up their home to us! We had a great stay on Norris lake!

Simply put... it's perfect!
5/5 We cannot say enough nice things about this property and it's owners! It was the perfect place for the quiet vacation we needed! Stocked with anything you could need, it's comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The stairs leading to the dock were a great chance to stop and listen to the birds, or watch the lizards or chipmunks scamper across the ground and just breathe in the beauty that is absolutely everywhere at Norris! The owners left a very thoughtful gift and were very great at communication. We 100% recommend this place is you're wanting the perfect, quiet vacation! We will be back!!!

Only word to describe... perfect
5/5 Our stay here was 100% what we needed! The home is very spacious, updated, clean and stocked with anything you could want. Of course there are stairs leading to the lake so we got plenty of exercise! The owners were very thoughtful in everything, leaving beautiful personal touches and you could tell they took extreme care in making this home exactly what you would want in a vacation at a lake home. We will definitely book here again! Thank you so very much!
Gorgeous Beautiful Cabin Get Away
3/5 Cabin was clean well taken care of. John the host was amazing catering to requests when possible. Only downside.......steps lots of steps up a 10% grade hill to get to the dock. That was the only negative but my family and I had an amazing time! Definitely would recommend.

Great Home, Great Cove, Great Owners!
5/5 Overall we really enjoyed this home! Great house and it's in a nice cove. The owner's were excellent to work with - easy text communication, a nice welcome gift when we arrived, and the house is great - looks recently renovated.Pros - nice quiet cove, nicely updated home, owners were great, some of the nicest we've rented from - easy to communicate with and even let us use their nice life jackets, awesome grill, nice dock area for swimming and fishing, kayaks were fun, kitchen/house had pretty much anything you could want/need during your stay, the washer/dryer were nice, plenty of towels for bathrooms (we've stayed places before where they didn't have hardly any), close to Shanghai Marina where we rented a boat and wave runner, if your kid likes Harry Potter the room with bunk beds is under the stairs - we joked that it was the bedroom under the stairs on Privet Drive, plenty of space for our 2-families of 4 to spread out and hang outCons - no dishwasher so plan to bring paper plates/plastic utensils, beds on bottom floor aren't super comfortable, maybe because they don't have box springs?? they weren't terrible but I was happy to get home to my own bed, WiFi is almost non-existent (avg download speed was 2 Mbps, avg upload speed was 0.05 Mbps - yes those numbers are correct - I couldn't send any pictures from my phone until we left) - so make sure to download your Spotify playlists before you arrive as we couldn't just stream music down at the lake and couldn't get enough bandwidth to download new playlists - but a great time to truly disconnect (just better to know that going into it), and lastly, it has 122 steps from the house down to the dock, and while a lot of steps is pretty standard for Norris Lake homes we've stayed in prior, these were steep... essentially you just need to strategically plan your day so that you only have to go up them once or twice at most per day - so just don't plan to pop back in and out of the house throughout the day
