We had a wonderful time at this property! The set up of the house is perfect for a family or group, where everyone has their own space. We did have a couple of minor issues that the owner addressed and resolved quickly. The major issues this house has is the cleaning crew and/or care takers of the house, not the owner he was wonderful! The house needs some updating (new appliances like a cook top and dryer, trim work, general maintenance etc.) more kitchen supplies like pots, pans, cookie sheets and a deep clean. The condition the house is in now I would consider it glamping at the lake. It was still an amazing trip, and I would rent the property again without the updates. These are just things I would like to know before renting a property.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay, and really enjoyed the beauty and calm of the lake. We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting the area. The neighborhood is quiet and absolutely wonderful. There are several convenient places nearby including Starbucks, CVS, Dollar General, Food Lion and the gym. You’re able to disconnect and enjoy the mountains while also feeling safe and slightly connected. We went kayaking on Lake Keowee, speedboating on Lake Jocassee and waterfall hunting in the area. We also enjoyed meals at The Lighthouse Restaurant and rented a pontoon for a day on Lake Keowee. It was a very relaxing Spring Break week with the kids.

We rented this house for my grandson's graduation from Clemson Univ. and it was perfect for that. Four adults stayed there, plus my grandson for one night. It was close enough to the university (25 minutes) but far enough away to avoid all the big crowds in Clemson. It was a great retreat for us out in the country on a beautiful lake. The house was exceptionally clean, which is a real plus in rental homes. Unfortunately, the house has been For Sale and may be under contract. So it may or may not be a rental in the future. But for us, this house was perfect! It does not get better than sitting on the deck looking out on the lake after a busy day!
Great place to just relax. Everything we needed was there. We have stayed on Lake Keowee many times and it is such a beautiful lake. Grocery & restaurants were not far at all from the property. We have family that live close by so that was a bonus. Owner & property manager were very responsive if you needed them. Thanks again :)
