We were lucky to find the property due to arriving after dark. There is an abandoned plantation, nearly in the backyard of the house, so that is a very cool, short walk from the house. House was clean and welcoming, but there are some maintenance issues that may need to be addressed soon. Host was great. Entirely absent, but for some that may be a benefit. There is nothing to do in Mclellanville, so be prepared to drive a bit for things to do.

House was clean and well equipped. Great outdoor space for our dog to run. Kim was very friendly and helpful, but provided lots of privacy. Good home base for day trips.
