Nice location in a quiet neighborhood
4/5 We enjoyed our stay - about 10 min from the beach. Management was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Pool was “stained” when we arrived. Kitchen was not well stocked - no kitchen towels, garbage bags, food storage containers or baggies. Poor lighting outside, but beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for everyone. Bathrooms were nice and recently redone. A beach and parking pass would have been nice, but was not included in the rental.

Too Early in June
3/5 The house overall is nice. If you have small kids bring a gate for the stairs to the main level. Well equipped with supplies. Even had extra air mattresses. The bathrooms are definitely for the influencers. The house was a bit dusty and not prepared for the outdoor season. The screened in porch was not cleaned and the pool though swim ready has a very dangerous broken ladder. Also there is a koi pond, do not allow small children in the yard without supervision. Otherwise for the weekend it served its purpose.

Hi Megan, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize for any issues you encountered during your trip. After reviewing your feedback, we reached out to the homeowner, and they would like to share the following:
-The guest emailed us with several questions, which we responded to promptly, as we do with all our guests. The issue with the pool ladder was mentioned, but this had not been reported by any previous guests. We requested further details about the ladder issue but did not receive a response. We are proactive in addressing concerns and would have appreciated the opportunity to assist during your stay.
-Upon inspection after your departure, we found a broken latch on the second door that secures the pool stairs when locked. The ladder itself was stable and secure. We have since replaced the old ladder with a new one.
-Regarding the porch, it is a three-season area with screens. Due to the wind and pollen, it can be challenging to keep the area completely free of debris. The cleaner visited several days before your stay, and the split-level design of the house is detailed in the listing. It has five stairs to the landing and an additional five to the lower level. While a gate is not currently listed as an amenity, we will consider this for future improvements.
