I need to mention right away, NO SWIMMING ALLOWED, not recommended by the owner and once there I understood why. Being it was a “lake” house, 1 major reason we picked it, was to swim. If that was listed about no swimming, I would have gone elsewhere. I booked way back in the beginning of spring before some reviews listed with notes about no swimming.
Otherwise, was a family trip. Elder parents (paid for and they brought small rat dog), Sister with husband and 2 teenage brats (all kids are brats, including yours reading this), then my wife and I. Was a nice, lovely house. Plenty of room and entertainment.
Appliances all worked well. One that did break down, luckily it was at the end. Reached out to the owner and there was a quick response.
Enjoyed kayaking and paddle boat on the pond/lake. New paddles were there. All games in basement were good, couldn’t find ping pong net but everything else was good. Beat the brats in all the games, let them know “Uncle” is the best!
Close enough to town to have groceries delivered and Pizza as well.
Highly recommend if you don’t plan on swimming.

We enjoyed our time here. Lots of activities within driving distance. The backyard is very nice. The house is spacious and offers a lot of amenities.

The house is nice however it is not on a lake. It’s is on a pond that you are not allowed to swim and it takes less than 10 minutes to kayak around the whole thing. The listing advertises 2 kayaks and a paddle boat. This is true but there is only 1 paddle for the kayaks and the rudder on the paddle boat was broken off so you can not use it since you can not turn. Also the pier is a safety hazard. There is a high drop from the upper part to the lower part and should have a step. The mattresses in the bedrooms are awful and need to be replaced you sink in to the middle and the boxspring creeks any time you move. It also advertises linens provided this is just a bottom sheet and pillow cases. There are no top sheets or blanket just a comforter (Asked for these items from our contact and no response) they did send out a repair man to unclog the showers (they were full of hair) and fix the air hockey table and the pool sticks with no tips. Once everything was fixed in the basement the kids loved it down there. Overall the house has potential but it’s outdated and needs some tlc. Also I feel like the fact that you can not swim and that the waterfront is to a pond not a lake should be clearly stated in the description
