The reviews about this property are spot-on. It's just like staying at your grandma's house - nothing is new, but all works and we had a great time! The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, the location canNOT be beat, and really nothing at all to complain about! A couple of the upstairs bedrooms' mattresses are a bit less-than-comfortable for adults, but nothing that wasn't tolerable. While there, we all agreed that our group would really like to have an additional night there - we weren't able to modify our booking via the vrbo site/app, but we reached out to the property manager Danielle (mind you, this was after hours and on a weekend) and she promptly jumped on our request and confirmed within a short time that we could add another night!Would highly recommend this property, and we WILL be back!

Well...the good first. The location and the view were breathtaking. The kitchen was one of the best equipped that I've ever stayed at. The linens were nice quality. However...the upstairs windows overlooking the ocean were not clean, and the baseboards were not clean either. The biggest problem was the stench of dog urine in the carpet near the entryway whenever the temp got above 70 inside. The basement bathroom was small and cramped, and you have to slide through the sink and the way to get to the toilet cubby. There was inadequate lighting in the bathroom-laundry room, so much so that when you pull the shower curtain closed you can't see what you're doing in the shower. The heat in the downstairs bedrooms was on the baseboard. We turned it on during our last chilly night, and I was kept awake the whole night as it banged and clanked--something a baseboard heater should never do. The property manager answered very promptly with our internet concerns but ultimately nothing could be done to fix it. The modem was old, and internet signal was very intermittent, so about 98% of the time there was no internet. Not a big deal if you had Verizon and stayed upstairs, but every other carrier had no signal (not the homeowner's fault at all) and no one had signal downstairs. If you don't mind being totally disconnected during your stay, it's a pleasant enough place if you stay upstairs. Just please shampoo the carpet!

It was great for the amount of room for all, including 5he dog! Great location for shopping and tourist attractions. Kitchen is well stocked. The only thing is one key is a bit difficult for a large party that would like to go different directions.

I really hate to write bad reviews, especially when the vacation overall was enjoyable. Aside from the fantastic location and great things to do in the surrounding area, this property was really run down.
To start off with, when unpacking, my girl found the dresser filled with nasty hair, so bad that one of my daughters refused to sleep in the room despite having to double up with other siblings. Then there were the bathrooms. We were wondering why there was a hole drilled into the ceiling just above the downstairs toilet until my son felt drips on his back when the upstairs toilet was flushed. Somebody knew enough to do this ahead of time so the ceiling wouldn't be damaged. Pretty disgusting!
Then the connection for upstairs hose for the shower broke over the holiday weekend and could not be repaired, leaving us to use the downstairs shower which is the size of a telephone booth and has about enough pressure as a raindrop. My four girls with long hair were not unhappy.
Over the full length of the stay, the wifi did not work and you get about 1 bar on your cell phone. We were told they didn't know when it would be fixed. Very misleading to advertise as having this feature. If you have any work to do or want to stay in touch with civilization, forget about it.
To her credit, Brenda with Evolve tried to help as much as she could and was very apologetic for the inconvenience. The maintenance manager for the facility, never returned one call or text. Glad there weren't any emergencies.
The location is quiet and very peaceful. Everyone in the area was friendly and welcoming (local people). The house was very spacious for the 9 of us and the dog! The only thing was there was only one key, which was stressful when different parts of ty he group wanted to go different places. But would DEFINITELY go again.
