First thing I noticed was how quiet the place was. Standing outside you can hear the creek bubbling behind the property, the wind blowing through the trees, and the birds singing in them. The amenities (sauna, hot tub, yurt) were spotless. The directions on how to operate them were easily followed. Laying in bed at night you could hear the creek as well. The simplicity of the place made it easy to unwind and recharge. We will be back again!

This was an absolutely magical vacation for our family of four. The cabin is artfully decorated with beautifully curated items with boho vibes. The yurt is beautiful and the perfect place to sit and read, relax, exercise, etc. the sauna (with a view of the forest!) & hot tub were the cherry on top of an already incredibly well appointed rental. The kitchen had everything needed for basic cooking, the beds were comfortable, the linens were luxurious and everything was just so well planned. It’s private, but close enough to Troutdale, Gresham and even Portland if you’re itching for a change of scenery, good restaurants and civilization. We loved Sugar + Pine and visits to the Sandy River for our boys to play. We did have a few unwanted visitors in the cabin (spiders, ants), but to be expected in the woods. Overall, one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many!).
