2/5 I gave this property two stars primarily because the bedroom window did not lock, so I did not feel safe leaving valuables in the home when we went out.
The sliding glass door did not lock, there was a stick in the slider that was used for a "lock".
There were four of us staying for three days.
The bathroom must be entered through one of the two bedrooms, and at least one of the doors didn't lock, so there was an awkward moment and surprise to be walked in on!
The kitchen is so small that really only one person at a time can comfortably be in the kitchen preparing meals, and the lack of kitchenware made it VERY challenging to cook.
I advise the owner to go to thrift stores at least to provide adequate kitchenware.
I have learned to ALWAYS travel with a kitchen knife when staying at vacation rentals, and boy was I happy I had it this time!
There was another unit being rented the same time we were there, and though there were plenty of places to park, they chose to park their big truck directly in front of our front door every day. The owner never told them to move their truck.
It was nice to sit outside in the back, and we had deer with fawns come through every evening which was lovely. That being said, the outside could really use some cleaning.
The interior of the home was clean, and the bed linens were nice and the beds comfortable.
I am sorry, but we would not stay here again.
