We had a wonderful stay at this house on Seneca Lake. Great sunsets and lake vista, large dock and patio, well appointed home and loaded kitchen. Even better than the pictures! Supermarket, liquor/wine, and vegetable stand with everything we needed within 3 miles. Highly recommend, and expect to return.

Our stay at Seneca Lakehouse was perfect. The house is in excellent condition and website pictures very accurate. The view on the lake is spectacular and access to the dock very easy. The kitchen has all you need to cook and grill. We rented a boat for the week, went for fishing, and explored costal neighborhoods. A very peaceful stay!

Our family (6 adults, 2 youths) stayed here the first week of August 2021, we loved everything about the house. All the little details you want in a vacation home were there. A very thought out presentation and a wonderful location on a dead end street (so not much traffic) leading to a Park and walking trails. Everything you need, from groceries to a boat ramp, was within 10 minutes. We had a fantastic week weather-wise which certainly helped. We used the dock every day, sitting and relaxing, jumping into the water or floating peacefully on a mat. We brought our 21' boat and tied up to the dock using their whips, and it all worked out beautifully. We spent a lot of time cruising the lake and stopping at various wineries and restaurants with boat access.
The owners were in constant communication when we had questions, and went out of their way to help when a tree took out the internet and we needed to reset the modem.
The only negative was a lack hot water for showers and such, but the owners told us the have an instant hot water heater on the way to solve that issue. The steep walk down a grassy path to the dock is a bit of a challenge for older folks, but it was not a game changer. We look forward to returning next year!
This house is everything it looks like in the photos. The views from every room are amazing. The house is immaculately clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and grilling. The waterfront and beach are fabulous and very private. There were no neighbors around us when we were there. The hosts are fabulous. We rented kayaks and paddleboards and used them everyday for the 4 days we were there. We had fires every night on the beach. We actually never left the house the whole time.
My only recommendation is that if you have mobility limitations, then the steep walk down to the beach and back up to the house may be a little difficult.
Our family of four (2 kids 12 and 14) had such a great time and were sad to leave. Highly recommended!
beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, spacious parking. we brought our own kayaks & life jackets which the grandkids used daily & they spent hours jumping off dock. Loved the deck right off kitchen & we ate out there frequently. Beds were very comfortable with bedrooms far enough apart to feel private. we travelled to Ithaca & hiked the Gorge in Watkins Glenn. B oth places on;y about 30 min away. at the end of the week, no one wanted to leave!
