• Beautiful and Spacious Rental with Lovely Outdoor Spaces

  The Rich Resort is an incredible location for our wedding party to say in for our wedding weekend. It has a beautiful living area with fireplace and kitchen with a lot of counter space (and two fridges). Everyone was blown away by the place! The woodwork in the house is really nice and feels/looks luxurious.

  There were many rooms for people to stay in, the only downside is that many of them are two separate twin or full beds , and we had mostly couples staying there so they had to sleep separately. Also one bedroom is off the main bedroom and doesn't have a separate way to get in- it's more like a children's bedroom (not for adults), so that is one less bedroom to be used if couples are staying).

  Their deck is beautiful and has a propane fireplace which is nice if the weather is cooler in the evening.

  The dirt road there is very bumpy and could stand to be flattened out. But our shuttle bus made it anyway to take us to our venue!

  Overall it is a beautiful spot to stay with a larger group and the owners are super friendly, communicative, and accommodating!

  I would recommend this place for anyone, wedding party, or family or friend trip!

• Decent Property for Price

  The property was very big, which served it's purpose for our group. A number of things didn't work - the filtered water in the fridge, the ice function, many of the lights, games, etc. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and having enough beds for everyone was great. The best part of the property is the deck that overlooks the backyard and pond. If you want to be close to town, this is not the best place to stay, but if you're looking for a large secluded property, this is your spot.

• Incredible Rental!

  We stayed at the house with 5 total families while our boys played at All-Star Village. The drive is only 10-15 min to the fields yet this place feels like it’s in the middle of the of the Catskills hundreds of miles from anything. The views from the house down to the lake are magical. The house is spread out and fits plenty of people. It is stocked with everything needed to cook a beautiful meal, including many spices and seasonings. The downstairs game room is perfect for kids of all ages. We spent the majority of the time outside on the deck, inside by the fireplace, or down at the lake with the kids in canoes and parents sipping wine. The great room is welcoming and an awesome gathering place for large groups. Truly unique and awesome experience with this house. Highly recommend!

• Poorly maintained property

  I rented this house for my daughters graduation weekend from near by Hartwick College. We arrived with 13 family members for the weekend celebration. Upon arrival we noticed that the refrigerator was filthy. My wife had to clean the refrigerator before we could put our food in. One of the Queen beds had sheets with stains on it. There were no extra bed linens to be found. One of the double ovens wasn’t working. A shelf in one of the kitchen cabinets was being supported by dishes from the lower shelf. After purchasing propane we found out that the bbq grill only ignites half way. One of the bunk beds had a broken support slat. The doorknob for the primary bedroom bathroom was falling off. The outdoor string lights would not turn on. The karaoke machine was “out of order”. One of the double ovens was “out of order”. There was no ironing board or iron. You will notice that pieces of the siding of the house is missing. I’m not one to leave an all negative review so here’s the positive. The grounds and lake are beautiful. We all enjoyed the game room. The main living area is a great place place for family and friends to get together. Overall the house is poorly maintained.
