Such a quaint farmhouse chic property. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedding cozy and comfortable and the view was magnificent. We enjoyed kayaking every day! Highlight was watching a bear cub swim across the pond. Can't wait to come back!

  • Quiet and beautiful location

    5/5

We stayed here with some friends and our toddler and had an amazing time. The view from the big windows in the open concept living space was 5 stars. The lake is quiet with no motor boat traffic and we enjoyed taking the paddle boat out. The kitchen was well enough equipped to make some simple meals so we were able to stay on site the whole weekend. No complaints at all for a weekend out of the suburbs!

  • Quiet, peaceful setting

    5/5

My boys and I stayed here two nights; it was exactly as described. The house is small but well designed and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of seating in the house. We brought our kayaks and kept them out on the dock so in the morning we were able to go kayaking immediately. The lake is a very easy paddle for beginners and we were the only ones on it each time. The road to the house is gravel and is a bit rough but manageable for our family car. There are no easy to reach grocery stores or restaurants; they are all about 20 minutes away so consider stopping before heading all the way to the house.

  • Not what you think

    1/5

When we got to a house that was kid friendly, it was all white, not kid friendly. The one bedroom the over head light did not work. They leave you a number to call but there is no phone service so how fo you call. The road states dead end do not enter. When we finally figure out that is the road, it is a dirt road full of good size holes. The pond that we could use had a dock as we went down the dock some of the boards were replaced but never screwed down. The pond looked more like a swamp with tons of algea.the paddle boat was filled with green water, not sure how to empty it. The fire pit was rusted and had holes the size of softballs. I would not reccomend nor will i ever stay there again.

  • Off the Grid Lakehouse

    5/5

We had an amazing stay at this lake house. Pictures are accurate, very clean and everything in great condition. You can do your grocery shopping 10-15 minutes from there. Host is great and very communicative. High speed internet. Great place to untether and unwind.
