- This single-story home requires steep steps to access
- The property has ceiling fans but does not offer air conditioning. Please note that, typically, air conditioning is not needed due to the prevailing river breeze
- There is another bookable vacation rental in the adjacent lot with a shared driveway and steps to access the shoreline; other travelers may be present during your stay
- The property is not childproofed and features steep steps and water access, which may not be suitable for young children
- The shoreline is rocky and may not be walkable
- Severe flooding in 2017 and 2019, along with strong winds, caused significant waterfront damage, washing the small dock ashore and leading to erosion. A retaining wall and new steps were added in 2020, but there is still no direct water access. For safety, do not attempt to climb down the rocks, as it may result in injury. Guests can enjoy the best view of the St. Lawrence from the property



PROPERTY ADDRESS:
 - 39435 Bartlett Point Rd, Clayton, NY 13624
- After turning onto Bartlett Point Road, travel approximately a half mile until the road curves to the right
- On the left there are two green signs '39435, 39437' attached to a tree. Turn left there onto the paved driveway
- There is a green house next to a green garage to the left of the driveway. Go past these buildings and then go straight up the road where it becomes gravel/dirt
- Follow it up the hill. Then you will see the River and the cottage down the road on your right

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check in after 4:00 PM
- The home is accessible via keyless entry. The code is 1021
 - Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check out before 10:00 AM
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the property by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Labeled containers for paper, plastic, glass, and metal are located under the sink and in the cupboard to the right of the sink. Please clean out containers such as jars before putting in the trash. They will not be accepted at recycling if they are not clean! Garbage and trash that is not recyclable should be placed in the covered trashcan in the cupboard to the left of the sink
- When any container is filled, please tie the bag with a label and remove it to the large trashcan at the back of the cottage. The recyclables and trash will be recycled at the Clayton dump
- Wash and put away all used dishes
- Strip linens from all used beds
- Place all used linens and towels in a pile
- Please be sure to promptly clean up and dispose of all pet waste
- Please turn off lights, fans, and all electrical appliances when leaving the cottage
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the property is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

HOUSE RULES:
