    Stayed during mid September. Great big house with all amenities you'd expect in a house. Clean upon arrival. Space heater instead of central heat, not sure how that is during winter. Wifi is good, cell service is spotty though, but there is a landline phone for emergencies. Very quiet area. Overall, we enjoyed it.

  • Great Place to Stay!

    My family of four very much enjoyed staying here. The house is roomy, clean and comes with extras like two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer for doing laundry. This was a plus as we were often out swimming in nearby lakes and had sandy water shoes!

    The house is about a 20 minute drive to Ausable Chasm as well as High Falls Gorge. There are local swimming holes on the Ausable River as well as lakes to swim in nearby Lake Placid (about 25 minutes) and Saranac Lake (about another 15 minutes from Lake Placid).

    There is also a firepit outside and much quiet out in the woods if this is what you are looking for.

  • Perfect Place for out trip

    The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Quiet, secure, and close to Lake Champlain. There were some great local "mom and pop" eateries close by. Will definitely book the house again for our trip next year.
