  • Nice house, neighborhood not nice

The house was nice and comfortable. However when it rained the skylights leaked water in the house. The neighborhood is not the best either, felt a little unsafe. The other houses were not maintained and were kind of an eyesore driving to and from the house.

  • Lovely views

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We had many lovely family dinners in the evenings. It was fun watching the jack rabbits and even caught a glimpse of a road runner! The views of the surrounding mountains are gorgeous. Bonus you have many outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views as well! Highly recommend relaxing at the Ojo spa which is just right down the road. Small issue with the washer having broke before our stay but everyone was more than helpful getting extra towels to us and eventually a new washer. Everyone involved handled it so professionally. The driveway is a very steep rocky driveway. This is mentioned it the post but it's the very last thing. We didn't catch it until the check in email. My Pacifica made it up in low gear fortunately. We would most definitely stay again when we return to visit family.

  • Very clean

This property was as beautiful as pictured but sometimes pictures don’t show you how clean a place is. This place was immaculate. We will absolutely be staying again. Thank you!

  • Amazing stay!!

This house and the views outside are absolutely stunning! The pictures don't do it justice. We watched some phenomenal sunsets from the deck off the master bedroom. The house was ready much earlier than anticipated and was very clean. The location is great as well. It's just far enough away from everything so it's quiet and peaceful, but close enough and easy to get to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Make sure to open up the windows in the house as well to get that amazing cool breeze in the mornings/evenings!

As other reviewers mentioned, you may need 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway as there are some pretty decent ruts, so just be aware. The internet is also extremely slow. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot for the TV to connect.

Overall, most definitely a 5 star stay and next time we're in NM, we'll be staying here again!

    Manager's Response:

From the owner: "Thanks for the review. We will be getting the drive smoothed out soon. Also, that far out in our only options for internet is DSL. The other option is satellite but then we risk being throttled down to really slow speeds. Hope to see you soon!"

  • Owner needs to do maintenance.

The house is beautiful. The owner needs to do maintenance on a few quirks in house and to do something with the driveway. The patio doors we never could get open. We tried all that they said to do and it still wouldn’t open. Some of the dishes are chipped in the kitchen. The driveway you need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill and our tires still spun. The gravel has washed away and our tires with all wheel drive still spun.. I did take pictures of the large ruts in road. I know this is out in the country, but it needs maintenance. Other then the patio doors we had a great stay in a pretty home.
