Location Details

Situated on 160-acre working farm, your stay at this vacation rental property is guaranteed to be private and peaceful. Schwebach Farm has been a functioning family farm for over 50 years, growing sweet corn, dry beans, and vegetables. If you're staying here during harvest, feel free to stop by the garden and pick some fresh veggies for your meals! You can also participate in farm events, dinners, tours, and more.

In the town of Moriarty just 5 minutes away, there are plenty of fun local activities worth checking out! Pay a visit to the U.S. Southwest Soaring Museum or Lewis Antique Auto & Toy Museum. For the adventurous, enjoy a glider ride with Sundance Aviation - all within minutes of the farm! If you're traveling during fall, spend a lovely autumn day at McCalls Pumpkin Patch. Browse the local antique stores to look for a cool piece to take home - much of the decor and furniture inside the cottage are from these shops!

'Keene Cottage at Schwebach Farm' is located 40 miles east of Albuquerque, or about a 35-minute drive. Pack up the car and head to this vibrant city for a day of exploring downtown or hitting the trails in the surrounding Sandia Mountains!

Albuquerque houses amazing Southwestern eateries, eclectic artisan shops, galleries full of world-class art, and a lively nightlife. Known as a rich culture and arts scene, more than 100 galleries and studios will be at your fingertips. Peruse a few shops and look for a souvenir! If you're traveling with kids, head to historic Old Town to check out the zoo and aquarium.

The property is also about 50 minutes to the historic plaza of Santa Fe, where you can explore equally notable galleries, museums, and eateries.

If you'd rather experience the area in the great outdoors, embark on adventures in the many mountain trails that flank Albuquerque on the east. Hop on Sandia Peak Tramway to get an iconic view of the sprawling city - this is the longest aerial tram in the U.S. and third longest in the world!

  • Great place to stay

The place was located in the right place for us. It was easy to access and had all the basic items needed to stay for a week.

  • Best Deal on Vrbo!!

Every aspect of this stay; communicating with the owner, staying in the house, being on the farm, shopping at their vegetable stand and meeting some of their animals was an absolute pleasure. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and efficient. They have thought of everything you could possibly want or use. We loved sitting on the covered porch in the mornings and the open porch in the evenings. The fields are beautiful, the stars are stunning! These folks are the real deal and communicate fabulously. The quality of the stay far exceeds the cost of the rental. Stay here, you will be so glad you did!

  • Cutest farm house

We came for a family gathering. The home was so nice I wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy it. I travel to the area often and hope to stay again.

  • Antelope Hunt

My friends and I were in town hunting a nearby ranch. We chose to stay here instead of motels. We will try to make this an annual stay the house is perfect. The home is very clean and quiet, everyone really enjoyed the stay here.
