This little house was perfect and Im so glad we chose this house while we visited. This house is so charming and very clean. We loved how spacious the kitchen and living room were for our group of 6. We were initially going to get 3 motel rooms while we attended our nephews college graduation but Im so glad we didn't. The beds were the best and we enjoyed a nice evening on the back porch.
We will be back..
First of all, the house was exceptionally clean.Advertises a nice back yard with fire pit. Would be great if you don't mind the smell of the feedlots so close by.The house is right on the highway and a major train track.Trains come thru frequently. The deco of the house is rustic. The house has about 150 crosses burned into the wood all around the doors and the windows. The bedroom alone has 50 crosses burned into the wood. Don't mind crosses this just seemed excessive! On a good note. The restaurant "The Rail" has great food and atmosphere and its 5 minutes away.

Hi Linda, we want to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we're sorry if you felt caught off guard. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home before booking, but we also encourage guests to research the area before booking to ensure it is the right fit for their needs
-The interior aesthetic is something we and other guests appreciate, we have crosses burned into a 3x3 piece of wood on the top corner of doors and windows and six is the most in any room. To clarify, the home does not have 150 crosses throughout despite your comment. We understand taste in design is subjective so not everyone will be pleased
-We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, while we cannot control the smell of feedlots all around Clovis or the noise from the train, we are sorry if this made your stay less relaxing. As for any guest, especially at night, we advise that you keep the windows closed as soon as possible after you enter
-The photos were taken by a professional photographer and accurately represent the home. We can assure you that it is just as advertised online. We also provide all the information about the property, such as the amenities, and the fire pit is not advertised. We like to emphasize that we accommodate guests with a grill, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard
-We pride ourselves on a great guest experience and we are very hands-on, we are on-site to check the property and ensure the home is taken care of by our cleaning crew and maintenance team
-We are always happy to answer all of your questions while in residence. We work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we will always address concerns right away.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
