Home away from home in a Mountain Lodge
5/5 We stayed here while waiting to close on a new home and what a treat! It was clean, cozy and quiet. The kitchen is well-appointed. The bathrooms are spacious and luxurious (huge bathtubs!). The towels and linens were clean and plentiful. The washer and dryer work well, as does the fridge, dishwasher and oven. The deck is peaceful and the views are lovely.As for the communal area, the grills are really easy to use, and the picnic tables and gazebo are clean and comfortable. It was lovely to cook and enjoy dinner in such a pretty setting. The firepit is inviting and the pool and hot tub area is deluxe. The mini basketball/tennis courts are fun to use also! The game room in the Appalachian Lodge provides lots of opportunities for old-fashioned arcade family fun.I highly recommend this vacation spot. We love the Mountain Creek water park in the summertime, and it is a short walk to get there from this condo. The Appalachian Trail nearby is a beautiful place to walk and the local farms stores offer delicious food. The "Lots of Lox" bagel shop in the Acme shopping plaza sells fantastic bagels! I even like that you have get your gas pumped for you at gas stations in New Jersey. Another way to feel pampered!Frank and Gio are helpful hosts. I highly recommend renting their "home away from home" for a comfortable, fun, adventurous vacation in beautiful Vernon Township, New Jersey.

Peace and Quiet
5/5 we are from brooklyn looking for some peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of our neighborhood. this property was just perfect. very clean, comfortable beds, nice view and close to many things to do. highly recommended
