The cabin was a very nice place to stay with the view and all the accommodations. The only negatives was the gas grill had a moldy grill cleaner and the road up to the cabin was not explained well and one of our guests came in an RV that could not come up the hill and they had to keep it at the bottom

Hi Jerry, we wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "Thanks for the suggestions on the listing! The grill brush will be replaced ASAP. RVs will not make it on many of the mountain roads in our area. If your party is driving with something out of the ordinary, try contacting the host prior to the trip. We hate that you had this issue with our cabin."
We recently stayed at Mystic Ridge Cabin. Our family (my husband, 2 year old, and 10 week old), mother-in-law, and friends (husband and wife, 1 year old and 3 year old) absolutely loved our time there. The cabin was very well stocked and maintained. There was nothing we needed that we could not find. In fact, my husband and I enjoyed the bath towels so much that we purchased the same ones. Since getting out to hike is sometimes difficult with little ones, we walked up the gravel driveway a half mile to the other homes on the street -- it felt like a nice little hike to us. Our 2 year old especially liked to splash in the muddy puddles. All the kiddos loved hanging out on the porch and we enjoyed making a fire. We had to contact the property manager, Seth, about a minor issue and he was extremely responsive. We highly recommend your stay there!
We traveled for a little get away and we just could not be happier with our selection. From the first moment we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. The cleanliness of the cabin was amazing and the cabin had all we needed and more. The view and accommodations were just OUTSTANDING. Best vacation cabin we stayed at yet. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
We used the cabin for an early Christmas celebration. Since it is less than 2 hrs from Knoxville we were able to take a very nice hike on the way and still arrive in time for early dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped. We relaxed the evening away with wine and conversation by the fire with plenty of firewood. After a nice breakfast we explored Waynesville and lunched in Sylva. Back to the cabin for an early dinner. The beds with luxury bedding were comfortable. We did have to call the property manager when we arrived because the programmable thermostat was beyond our computer skills. He was very responsive and easily showed us how to operate the device. My small suv climbed the gravel drive without problems. The drive maybe a little challenging for city dwellers but the privacy it accords is worth it. We woke to snow on our last morning but were able to get to the main roads despite the snow. We plan to stay at the cabin again.
