Tropical Storm Stay
4/5 The house is wonderful. We really enjoyed the porches. We chose a week that included a Tropical Storm. It was a secure place to hunker down. I really appreciated the owner accepting our 5 day reservation. The location was nice, not too busy and I loved being across from the Blue Whale for quick purchases.
Really wanted to love it, but…….
3/5 House has it’s charms, but had some maintenance issues that needed some attention and some tender loving care which I wrote privately.
Great location to off road access, gas station & convenience store right across the house.

The good and the bad
4/5 Overall we had an enjoyable stay in salvo. There were a few things that could definitely be improved. This was a 4 bedroom house and the dining table was a small round table with only 4 chairs. Since the kitchen dining area are most used it was disappointing that there wasn’t enough room at the table for everyone to eat or play games. Two of the bedrooms only had sheer curtains with no blinds. Staying in the front bedroom with no blinds proved to be loud and uncomfortable. There were no flat sheets on those beds either just a comforter. There was a lot of food left in the fridge when we arrived so that was a little strange as well. On the plus side it was spacious and airy and open. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house. A larger table really is the biggest thing that made me give it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating.
