This was a perfect destination for my family with young kids and their grandparents. We will definitely consider a future stay and highly recommend this property!
Most of all we loved the outdoor deck, firepit and dock. We spent a lot of time swimming, paddling and fishing, catching lots of bluegills and a few catfish. The owner's kayaks and paddleboard were really great to have to explore the lake beyond the dock. The trees provided plenty of shade in the afternoon and evening making the outside areas still very pleasant on hot days.
The house was everything we needed for a six night stay. The kitchen was well equipped and a fun place to hang out and cook. The game room, internet access and availability of streaming services provided enough entertainment for the kids on rainy days. The fans and air conditioning kept things cool!
The instructions and documentation at the house was very detailed and helped guide us to whatever we needed, within the house and around the local area.
First off i’d like to say we loved the home, it was a really neat place. Spoke to the owner a few times to let her know that the AC would not cool house properly, it never got cooler than 74 in there and mainly stayed at 77. The fans helped alot though. Did find some dirt and old food on the floor in a few places. But overall we loved the house and would stay again for sure!
Highly recommend for a single family, only because of the single bathroom. So many activities - fishing from the dock, (perhaps swimming in the summer), fire pit, giant deck, pool table, ping pong table, excellent kitchen, and wonderful views from the home. We enjoyed it in January, can only imagine how great it would be in the summer.
