Murphy Wedding
5/5 The location and home was perfect for our visit. Easy access to Murphy for the wedding and a beautiful setting for the home. We enjoyed the added benefits of a hot tub and fireplace - even in May. The special touch of "fixings" for s'mores was a delight. The home was very clean and supplies were as needed.
Amazing place
5/5 This house is FABULOUS it housed my entire family of 10 it even had a pack and play for the babies. They arranged a nice basket with stuff for Smores and the kids really enjoyed that and the hot tub. It’s called the tree house and it truly feels like a glamours tree house experience. I LOVED the fact that all windows have room darkening curtains or blinds and since we had drove a 12 hour drive at night to get there that helped me sleep when we got there for a few hours. The master bathroom is a dream bathroom for most woman I fell in love with this house. My ONLY upgrade suggestions would be there is a door that leads directly to the lower level steps and it has a paddle door handle my 3 & 2 year olds easily got it open while I was in the rest room and my 3 year old fell all the way down the steps and my 2 year old was right behind her as I came running to them. Thankfully she was fine but it could have been really bad as they are very long step steps. For the door issue I’d suggest either a gate be attached there or a round handle with a baby proof grip. But even that didn’t persuade a negative review of this house. It also needs a couple bigger cooking pots and serving bowls for larger families. we’ll definitely stay here again since we have family in the area and came for a reunion.

Extremely poor management
1/5 Each individual who used the hot tub caught a bacterial folliculitis due to negligence in terms of maintenance and cleanliness from the property manager. Property manager called and said he was investigating the issue, then reported to the rental agency (evolve) that they were “unable to confirm an issue but did drain and clean the hot tub afterwards”. Spiders were all throughout the house, as well as they have a strict checkout policy but did not provide the materials needed to properly checkout such as trash bags and dishwasher pods. Genuinely don’t ever leave reviews, but hopefully this will spare someone from the nightmare that we’ve all experienced. Murphy, NC was beautiful, the customer service at this location and with this rental agency was not.

Awesome cabin and amazing views!!
4/5 The cabin was SO beautiful, we both loved it!! The hot tub was definitely the frosting on the cake! The only reason we didn’t give five stars is the maintenance guy that had to come every day while we were there, he ran a leaf blower, which was way loud so that was really disappointing since we were looking for a nice peaceful and QUIET time and preferably alone. Overall though, the cabin really was amazing and had everything we needed.

Great Stay Quiet Getaway
5/5 Wonderful location within manageable driving distance to popular areas. Loved the view from the windows and all the special touches put in and outside the property. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay beginning to end. Would definitely return.
