Beautiful cabin. Well equipped with everything we needed. Its a short 2-min walk to Sandy Bottom Trail Rides. We had some difficulty finding the place as we got there very late in the night but the concierge person was very friendly and helpful! She patiently guided us over the phone until we reached there safely. True to its name its a perfect Nature's retreat!
We booked our stay here for our first anniversary. It was totally worth it! The inside of the home is extremely clean and tidy with attention to detail. The outside of the home has an amazing view as advertised. Totally worth it and would definitley recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Massey Valley Nature Retreat. We were passing through on our way back from the Smoky Mountains and wanted a quiet and open place to stay while we visited the Biltmore. The house feels very welcoming like we are visiting our grandparents home, with modern updates. We found everything clean, stocked and met our needs perfectly! The property was tucked behind a horseback riding area, and the acre was secluded and all to yourself! Enjoyed the view of the beautiful turn of the century cabin and barn. One night, the sky was clear and we enjoyed an hour star gazing, was breathtaking without city lights! We enjoyed our excursions to Asheville, about a 40 minute drive, and discovering antique shops, restaurants and walking downtown sidewalks in nearby small towns. We enjoyed Bonnie and Clyde's Appalachian Cuisine, great food for breakfast and dinner. If you want to be away from it all, this is a perfect place for couples or a small family. And a perfect place to enjoy God's beautiful creation and give Him praise!
