This house was not as described, strong smell of mildew, outside patio furniture was very dirty and TV and lights did not work, no washcloths, recliner broken I did take pictures. Not up to VRBO standards, very disappointed.

  • Nice stay in Charlotte

Nice home and responsive owner. A little quiet near downtown Charlotte during the week in the summer. Lovely greenway for walks

  • Comfortable home near everything

This is a great little renovated home in a wonderful area. Close proximity to downtown, greenway trails, and more. Comfortable furniture and beds and great communication with host.

  • Perfect little home

The cozy and super cute 2 bedroom was the perfect place for our trip to Charlotte. About 5-10 minutes from pretty much any location in the city, quiet neighborhood, cute back yard. The single step out back and the fenced yard worked out great with our senior dog. The outdoor sectional area doesn't have working electric, so no lights or TV back there, but we were just fine without it. Charlotte has a lot to offer and this house was a great place or enjoy it from.

  • Our Charlotte Stay

We really appreciated that the owners offered us an early check-in. The large fully fenced backyard was great for our dog to explore and enjoy. Although we did not spend a lot of time in the backyard, the outdoor living amenities were great. Overall the inside of the property was good. The living room, dining room and bedrooms were comfortable; the kitchen was sufficiently equipped; & the bathroom shower & linens/towels were satisfactory. The flooring in front of the bathroom was loose & created a hazard when entering/exiting the bathroom, especially during the night, so we had to walk around that area. I was disappointed that the owner did not allow use of the entire driveway, which extended into the backyard. The available driveway was very narrow, which made it difficult to open the door to exit and enter my minivan. Even though it was advertised that driveway parking was for 3 vehicles, it would have been a very tight fit for 3 cars to park in the available driveway. The owner had just built a two-step stairs in the embankment by the driveway, but in my opinion it was too narrow and unstable, and would probably become more so if it rains hard. Although street parking was free, the streets were narrow which caused me concern about someone damaging my car if I parked it on the street. The stairs from the street to the house were steep with 8 steps and there were no handrails, making it hazardous for some people to use. I would not recommend this property for anyone who has balance issues or difficulty going up & down stairs without handrails.
