Perfect location between Boone and Blowi g Rock, especially for skiing at AppSki Mtn. Also perfect set up for a family of 4. Loved the house and communication with property manager was excellent. We will be back!

  • Perfect mountain get away

This cabin was tucked away up a mountain road but easy access to everything Boone and Rolling Rock has to offer. We loved how well stocked kitchen was for preparing Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed the fire pit for our cozy days with very chilly weather, and the easy to use fireplace with just a timer knob to turn on for an hour at a time. Check in was simple and we were permitted to access cabin a few hours early. While there are two master suites, each was a little different, but pretty equal. I especially appreciated the extra piece of furniture in the bathroom where a lady can put all her stuff away from the sink. The jacuzzi tub was a real treat and was something we definitely enjoyed. It’s a darling cabin and literally minutes away from the main shopping and restaurants. This was probably the single best thing about this cabin. We really had such a great time.

  • Very nice, needs some minor improvements, though

Place was very clean, beds were very good. Communication with the rental agency was fine. The ramp was great for getting the luggage in and out without having to go up steps. The rooms were spacious and laid out well. However, they had a very good photographer, because the photos make the place look more luxurious than it is, makes the grounds look larger than they are, and makes it look more private, when it's actually very close to other homes. The fire ring is actually right by the street. The front porch is not private, it's visible to all the neighbors. The back porch is nice and private, but the glass table was very dirty and is very flimsy - it rattles whenever the deck is being walked on. The chairs could also use some cushions to actually be comfortable. The bathrooms looks very nice, but the lighting was too poor to put on makeup and the tub really needs a grab bar or something to hang onto; it's not suitable for older people. The kitchen is well stocked and has better pots than most vacation rentals, but the appliances, fixtures and tools were bargain basement versions. We loved seeing the chipmunks play around the back porch. Summary: Very nice, but not what I would expect at this price point.
