The cabin was comfortable and clean. The views were fantastic. The weather was excellent. There were many attractions near by. We enjoy seeing the many deer and ground hogs. Would rent this cabin again.

  • Stunning View & Cozy Home

The Good....This is an absolutely stunning home! The view is like none we've ever the morning you are literally in the clouds and it's so cool to see the clouds move over you! It has an incredible kitchen with a huge rustic table perfect for our large family! The beanbags in the living room are a nice addition that allow enough seating for everyone. The family room downstairs is far enough away from the master bedroom that our kids stayed up late without bothering us.The not exactly Bad but just an FYI....None of these are things that would prevent us from staying again or from recommending however just for information purposes:I had reached out in advance to confirm the coffee maker type and received no response....FYI they have both a Keurig as well as a brew pot in the bathroom closet. If you have a large group and like breakfast just note the fry pans are kind of small and there is no griddle so pancakes/french toast cooking were difficult but we managed.the instructions explain you need to take your trash to the dump however they don't explain you need to get a dump ticket which you can get at Fred's across the street so it's pretty simple but good to know before you're in line at the dump. The dump guys were super nice and took our trash anyway on the 1st trip there.Just for pet bringers info: The home states it is small dog friendly and the home itself is great but there is no easy way for small dog to get to the grass. There are boulders lining the driveway and my elderly dog had issues getting over them. There are other steps that go directly to the grass but they are down several flights of stairs. The "in between" depending on what you're looking for....if you're looking to relax and enjoy the home this one is perfect!!if you're looking for a lot of actives on vacation since the location is so high up the mountain just about everything you want to do is a drive...there is nothing much within 30 minutes (in summer maybe more in winter) but everything we did was worth the drive. overall we highly recommend this home. this is tied for the top spot in our family's list of homes we love the most

  • Spectacular views

We are a group of 10 active seniors who have been getting together for years. After missing last year due to COVID, we were happy to be able to gather. The house was very comfortable, the views were amazing,, and we enjoyed exploring the area.

This is a wonderful home with outstanding views. I agree with previous reviews. We had a fantastic stay and may go back for a summer vacation. We suggest that the owners provide a welcome package that gives an overview of how to access the t.v., information about the grill, and an overview of local restaurants that deliver.
