• Quiet and Peaceful

  This new cabin was very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the swing out front and how quiet it was. We loved the decor inside. Very cozy. It is tough to find the place at first (especially when hauling a boat) as the address is not in view. We were disappointed with the reality of the lake situation vs what was shown and said in the description. You can NOT only NOT see the lake from the property you also can NOT see it from the end of the driveway as stated. The "1/3 mile" walk down to the lake isn't bad, it's tougher going back to the cabin since it's all up hill. In addition, there isn't a dock which is associated with this rental. The picture shows docks, but they beloning to other people.By the way, the lock on the back door was broken.All in all we had a lovely time, but most likely will try to find someplace else to stay the next time we visit. I was very pleased with the response time from the host on a couple of questions we had.

  We loved the beautiful, cozy new cabin! It was peaceful inside and out! The outside swing was very relaxing.

  The fact that the back door wouldn't lock was a bummer but one of the fireplace tools worked to keep us safe. The biggest issue I had was NOT that the lake was a third of a mile away because that was in the description, but because of the fact that a picture of the lake with docks was misleading. In the description it says you can see the lake "from their driveway" which is completely untrue....even in the winter I don't think it would be visible! Secondly, there is no dock space available with this cabin, so we had to put our boat in and take it out every time we wanted to go fishing. You can't fish from the docks, they belong to other people.

  We had a wonderful weekend, but it wasn't as perfect as we had hoped it would be.

• 100% Amazing Stay

  My husband and I stayed here for a week.

  It was amazing, quiet, clean and such a cute cabin.

  The bed is comfortable and bathroom accommodating.

  We would highly recommend anyone wanting to come hang out at the lake to stay here.

  You don’t have lake access other than to launch a boat but the drive is short to get somewhere to swim.

  Comfortable, clean and accommodating! Easy access to water at P-7. Friendly locals. Convenient location to town. Drive was a little tricky to park boat ( good driver and you will manage fine). Would definitely return. Host was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

  This cabin was awesome! It was so clean and decorated so cute! We had breakfast at the cute little table and chairs on the back deck. I brought coffee and to my disappointment the coffee maker was a keurig and took coffee pods, but they were so nice to have left us 5 pods for our coffee! The bed was so comfortable and that was a worry because we have a Temperpedic Cool Breeze at home. We really loved this cabin and I can't think of anything that could have made our stay more comfortable! We will definitely be back!!!
