  Evolve was a very ineffective host. When we contacted them, twice, the response was to ask us to contact another individual who was more closely connected to the house. This was completely unacceptable from a professional host. They should be acting on our behalf. In spite of an apology the first time, the same response occurred the second time. There was no compensation offered to us, by Evolve. We will not stay at another Evolve property. We do not recommend Evolve. We enjoyed the historic vibe of the 1880’sHouse. The house is generously furnished. The house was minimally stocked. No paper towels, no toaster, one small frying pan, hand soap and shampoo containers in the main bathroom were empty. There were dead batteries in two of the thermostats. The kitchen area never did warm up, during our five day stay. A live mouse was seen in the kitchen on our last night.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your comments, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We’ve since restocked the home with essential kitchen supplies and toiletries.
  - Batteries have been replaced in the thermostats, and we’ve addressed the heating concern in the kitchen area.
  - We’ve contracted with pest control to treat for mice and ensure the home remains pest-free.
  This historic home is important to us, and we want every guest to feel comfortable and well cared for. Thank you again for your feedback.

  It was a great experience, my husband and I really enjoyed staying there. We stayed there on a night of a hockey game. The house was neat and tidy, very clean for your stay. Very cute, and nicely decorated.

  There were mice inside the house and the bathroom setup wasn't ideal - bathroom not on the bedroom floors at all.
