  Pros: great fishing off the dock. Nice fire pit. Lots of space for our large extended family. Game room was fun. Owner was kind enough to allow us to stay with a deposit for our small dog.

  Cons: large Trump flag in the front yard made us feel unwelcome. Bathrooms need updating badly. Basement bedroom was very cold.

  -Regarding the Trump flag, we understand that decor can be a personal preference, and we appreciate your feedback on how it made you feel. It was noticed that the flag had been tampered with.
  We’d like to clarify.... that house rules were violated during your stay by bringing a dog without prior approval as we are a 'no pet' property. We ask all our guests to respect the property and the house rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

• Cleaning and Bathrooms

  We were surprised to find the home in such a state of uncleanliness. The refrigerator was dirty, as was the interior of the microwave. There were food scraps in the kitchen sink. Both toilets looked filthy. For a minute we thought it was water rust stains until we cleaned them and they came mostly clean by using the cleaning products available in the home. The floors were the worst. They were so filthy we had to buy a stick vacuum cleaner while we stayed to clean them. Several full vacuum canisters full of pet hair and debris, the floors were cleaned. Other than being unclean the home was as pictured. The lake access and dock were nice. The bunk house is a fun hangout too. The only other note is that the basement shower was not usable in the opinion of the 4 adults in our party, so we were limited to one shower. The property manager did come to clean the house when we reported the problem but it was half hearted.

  - The refrigerator, microwave, and toilets have been given additional attention to ensure they are thoroughly cleaned for future guests.
  - We are addressing the issue with the floors to prevent any future incidents. While our property is pet-friendly, we strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
  - We will further investigate the concerns mentioned about the basement shower and make any necessary repairs to ensure it is fully functional for future guests.

• Nice place. A few minor issues

  Place is a great location and the lake is nice. Code did not work for the front door luckily the back door was open. AC did not work and the fridge leaked. Downstairs shower is unusable do to the floor coming up. Rest of the place was nice and comfortable. Beds were great.
