Upon checking in, we found the house to be filthy. The dishes, silverware and cookware were put back into the cupboards without being washed. There were fruit flies everywhere and the entire coffee machine system was moldy. There were pieces of broken glass embedded into the carpet and my daughter cut her foot open. I brought this all to the attention of the property manager who was unwilling to offer anything accept an apology. We had to spend the entire first day of our vacation cleaning and sanitizing. Unacceptable. They should have arranged for a cleaning crew to come in and take care of this.Once we were able to relax, we had a great time. The house is in a lovely location and we had lots of fun playing by the lake, swimming and boating. We slept comfortably every night despite the heat (there were plenty of fans).

Barbara, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- We use a professional cleaning company to service our home to ensure our property's cleanliness expectations are met and exceeded.
- During the summer months, it can be hot and fruit or food left on the counters will attract fruit flies. We suggest to our guests to always refrigerate their food to prevent this from happening.
- We appreciate you letting us know of your concerns as it gives us the means to improve and provide 5-star experiences moving forward. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
We had a great time! No issues at all!

We love coming to The Loch. The house has a nice little sandy beach and easy access to the lake. The protected cove makes for perfect paddleboarding and kayaking. The binoculars, board games, flash lights and throw blankets made our stay cozy, fun and easy. Love being able to grill out the back and enjoy a fire in the evening. Modern bathroom, frige/freezer and dishwasher. Clean and comfortable.
The Loch is in a great location. Fantastic views of Jordan Bay in a very peaceful cove. The house was very comfortable and met all our needs. The dock was great and had plenty of space for our rental pontoon boat. I would recommend adding a light at the back stairs, more than one working flashlight, and a set of mixing/ serving bowls. Our concierge Rennie was very responsive to our needs. I hope to be able to return next year.Regards,Bill
