  This was our first time sking at Sunday River and we couldn't have been happier with the property.....with less than a 5 minute drive to the mountian!Lindsay was super communicative with any questions. Had just enough space for 2 adults and 2 teens. After a long day of skiing... the space was nice for cooking and gathering. The master bed was very comfy! Would highly recommend.

• Perfect weekend retreat

  Great location, less than 5 min from mtn. Comfortable sleep for 2 adults/3 teens. Convenient mud room area with mitten warmers! Everything we needed and felt like home for our family. Very clean and full kitchen with all utensils etc.

• Tough unit

  While some aspects of our stay were just fine, including communication with the owner, cleanliness and check in process were just fine there are a number of issues worth noting. The unit is filled with the owners things as there is no owner’s closet and therefore our stay felt like a bit of an intrusion. Appliances are of the lowest quality and are functional for the most part but the toaster was not working. While the owner delivered a new one, it was a no name toaster and didn’t work long enough to toast one round of toast. The kitchen cabinets were painted and peeling horribly. Basic items were missing, especially pot holders. Paper goods and towels were readily available. Finally the bed; most skiers appreciate nothing more than a good bed and in all likelihood I wouldn’t have left a review at all if it wasn’t for the bed. The box spring is torn and looks like it is original to the unit. We slept in a hole towards the center of the bed for the week! A mattress pad likely masks the old mattress.The living room furnishings are comfortable and relatively new.

  - We immediately addressed your issues of our toaster not working by purchasing a new one, but you weren't happy with the brand. Since your stay, we purchased another toaster
  - You may have mistaken the laundry room cabinet for an owner's closet. We don't have any personal items or an owners closet there
  - We are very responsive to our guests, and had you asked for the additional items you mentioned in your review, we would have helped you locate the items or assisted in purchasing them
  - Although our mattress was new during your stay, we have since purchased a new box spring since your stay and our guests have commented on how comfortable the bed is
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
