Our stay was only ok
2/5 The positives - we were there on vacation so location to Boston and Salem was great. Local restaurant LaScalas is terrific. Out door kitchen area was nice but we did have to call for propane and the back yard was dirty. When I spoke with host she said there had been a lot of rain. But this wasn’t rain this was old dirty pool toys, a child’s pink sock by the pool looked like it had been there for weeks. Grills and cooking areas loaded with baked on food The host had propane brought right over said it was the renter’s responsibility to clean the grill but no supplies to do that are provided. Hot tub in house not prepared for use and if you use it there are no instructions. House cleaning was only ok just don’t open sleeper sofa or you will find raisins from the last user and bug bodies. One bedroom had a blow dryer on the wall of the bathroom with absolutely no place to plug it in so you just get to look at it. No tv in bedrooms and the one in the master is a joke. We have done several family vacations and this was the worst rental we have used. We know we left the trash cans outside full. We felt bad for anyone coming for the weekend because the cans only get emptied once a week on Tuesdays so those who stayed after us in the weekend had to deal with our trash. This house has potential but needs TLC and a welcome book with instructions on hot tub, fireplace etc. still waiting to hear from host on two shirts left behind in closet.

A dated house in need of repair and cleaning with some great advantages
3/5 Four senior siblings with two spouses along shared this house.
The advantages of this house: great play room for kids. Wonderful central location for our purposes. Lots of room: easy to have multiple cooks in the kitchen; large great room area; comfortable sofas. Quiet cul-de-sac. We enjoyed a nice meal at La Scala which is a short drive from the house.
1/5 Pictures Lie. On arrival pool was disgusting. Backyard and pool area totally not clean or setup for guests. Garbage cans were totally full. My daughter's graduation weekend was ruined because of pool area. Management company didn't respond with any urgency. Nothing was attempted to solve the issues while we were there. The reason I rented this property was the pool. VRBO just told me they can't do anything. BE AWARE OF VRBO, THEY DON'T STAND BY US RENTERS.
