  This house is beautiful. Large enough to accommodate 7 adults and one 6 yr old. It was well stocked with all that we needed. The game room was enjoyed by all. I recommend this site for families seeking to have privacy, yet close to restaurants and stores. Barbara

• Mostly great

  This was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. Everything was thought of in terms of what we might need.

  A few things to be aware of about our experience:

  The first night we arrived there were large roaches in the kitchen but we went ahead and sprayed bengal and didn’t see a single one afterwards.

  The floors throughout were not very clean, we were barefoot for a while and our feet turned black after a short time. We wore socks the rest of the time.

  The toilet in the room with the massage chair needs some tinkering, it didn’t fully flush.

  The air conditioner was a bit of an annoyance, I put my baby to sleep in the bunk room early each night and the a/c programming kept cranking the a/c back up after I would turn it down to a comfortable temperature for him to sleep. With the door shut that room stayed quite warm, my baby monitor said it was 76 and I could not get it to cool down before it would kick off.

  We LOVED the outdoor space, the arcade machine, the kitchen, and all of the space. We would be happy to stay here again. Thank you!

• Lafayette weekend

  This house was perfect for our family reunion. The large layout kept us for ever feeling crowded. Two master suites on opposite ends of the house have us plenty of choices for sleeping. We enjoyed the back yard area with ample room for catching up with family and an outdoor TV made watching our LSU Tigers baseball games easy. Our only issue was that the oven was broken, but we improvised with the outdoor grill. The kitchen is extremely spacious. The Pac-Man video game was a favorite with everyone. I especially liked the communication with property management. We were able to get into the house a few hours early and they were quick to respond with the oven issue. We would definitely stay here again!

• Great communication but lacking

  The house is as advertised, however, the cleaning crew did not properly clean the house. The trash was not removed, coffee grinds still in the machine, towels were all put up wet and zero back up amenities (no extra toilet paper, paper towels - not even one roll of either and the rolls on the holders were not fresh). Overall it was a good house for my extended family to stay in and the property manager was responsive to changes to check in/out times which was appreciated. Note that the thermostats are smart and finicky and resulted in the property manger having to adjust the temperature every time we needed it adjusted.

• Gas Smell

  - We aim for transparency and as stated in the listing, the house does have a gas stove. When the pilot lights go off, it will give off a smell of gas but nothing that should be too bothersome and is functioning as normal. We value the safety of our guests and the house has brand new carbon monoxide monitors throughout that will alarm if the gas levels were dangerous. To ensure efficiency, we had a gas specialist visit the home to inspect the stove and reported no issue.
  - Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability to our guests. We were not contacted by you at all for the issue and we would had assisted you in clarifying on the concern.
