The cabin and grounds were gorgeous! We stayed here for a trip to the area caves and we definitely enjoyed the accommodations. Our son loved the personal dock and the huge loft in the cabin. Everything was still in brand new condition. Just one note to those not used to the extreme rural lifestyle. There are some mom and pop restaurants and convenience stores and some dollar stores within 10 min drive, but you are ~30 min+ from chain restaurants, groceries, etc. Well worth the seclusion, but be sure to come prepared with groceries or make sure you stop at the interstate on your way.

The cabin was clean and had all the amenities needed. We brought yard games to play and s'mores by the fire pit. One of the trail entrances was right off cabin 10. We were pleasantly surprised by the waterfall and trail right on the property. It was about 40 minutes to Mammoth Cave National Park. The kids loved sleeping up in the loft. We would definitely recommend this property and stay again.

It was everything we wanted for a quiet honeymoon closer to home. He likes to fish. I like to read. We spent most of our time on relaxing on the dock. Cabin and property seems pretty new. The only thing I would add would be a bench or seating down by the lake and outside dining table. Overall everything was great & we're glad we found this place!

Very remote and private. Having coffee, paper supplies, soft towels, and dish soap great added touch.
Host was fast to answer questions. Love when rentals have a notebook with places to eat and visit and this one does that.
Some ideals for host. If could have a sign off main road that says turn here, we found the place. However if it had been dark on arrival not so easy.
Small blow dryer for when people leave theirs at home.
Had a great time. Be sure to walk to waterfall and cave area. They have nice new looking steps for your safety. Get up early for the sunrise it will not disappoint.
For sure would book this place again !!!
