Our family stayed in cabin 7 for the weekend, and we had so much fun. We are already talking about coming back in a few months. I highly reccomend this resort.

We decided to take a last minute family trip, so we were very excited to find this available for our dates! The cabins are clearly pretty new, well stocked, with great amenities on site. Our kids enjoyed the playground and swimming off the dock (lots of stuff available to borrow in the Kayak Haus).
We did visit the on-site “cave and waterfall” - it was basically a large rock overhang with a little trickle of water. Our kids enjoyed the outdoors, nonetheless. The hike down to that spot is quite steep, so be careful and prepare for a leg workout.
The location was great - private and secluded but within a reasonable driving distance to attractions like Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Down Under. We also enjoyed Kallee Coffee just down the road!
Enjoyed our stay!! Clean, fully stocked cabin with everything we needed. Great property, enjoyed the trails and lake. The kids caught numerous blue gills off the dock.
We loved this cabin. It was spacious, clean and every detail was well thought out. It was nice to have our own dock, fire pit and area to hang out. The waterfall on the property is gorgeous. The hosts were very responsive but we only needed to ask them for another trash bag as we didn’t need anything else. They would have been happy to help with anything.
The ferry was closed when we were there, so it took a bit longer to get to the Visitor Center for our cave tour, around 40 minutes I think. Just an fyi to make sure you check if the ferry is open when planning your day!
This was just what our family of 6 needed! Close enough to some fun family activities like Mammoth Cave and zip lining, but would be the perfect stay if you never left the property! We had so much fun just fishing, kayaking, hiking, and enjoying the beautiful night skies and property! . Would highly recommend to anyone for a peaceful getaway!
