“Big Kids” tradition little getaway after Thanksgiving. Great place to stay with plenty of room for 4-6 adults. Very adequately stocked kitchen, tons of room and use of the garage was a great plus.

This was the first time I've used the VRBO app or anything similar. We've lived in Emporia previously so I knew the area of where the house is located. Having said those few things, this house is perfect for families/groups with young children, teenagers or just adults in a quiet yet easily accessible location to downtown Emporia. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who cook as well as bake (there are even containers for leftovers if needed). There is a coffee pot, filters, coffee, blender, toaster and the fridge has an ice and water dispenser. Stove/oven is electric and both worked efficiently as did the microwave. There is plenty of table/serving ware including sippy cups, plastic plates bowls, etc., for the younger eater. The pictures show the house just as it is. The living room and kitchen area are open concept. The kitchen leads out to a south facing closed-off deck (perfect for toddlers) that offers a peaceful view with a symphony of birds to listen to in the morning. Everything was clean and communication with the owner was very pleasant. Have nothing but good things to say. Stay here and enjoy Emporia!
