this Kona studio is just as listed and a good value for the area : ocean view and soothing sounds from the lanai where I spent all my time when "home," right across the lawn and Ali'i Dr from a little sandy strip and black rock tidepools (great people watching from the lanai, too). It is very short walking distance to all the best restaurants and shopping in Kona town, including a farmers market practically right next door. To eat, I can recommend the Fish Hopper, Fosters Kitchen, Papa Kona for breakfast, and On the rocks poke bowl and evening live music. I walked or took the trolley everywhere (except the airport) and saw a lot of beaches and fish in three days. (Side note: the trolley doesn't really adhere to the schedule and only comes once per hour; there is rarely shade at stops.) The bed and linens were very comfortable, and I never needed the A/C (which worked fine) because the overhead fan and ocean breeze kept me cool. Pakalana at Evolve property management was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely be back. Best recommended for a solo traveller or a couple.
