This is a new vacation rental and there are a few things that need to be done to make this perfect, but it's nearly there.
The location is great. East side, close enough to everything, but far enough away that you don't have to deal with crowds. There is essentially everything you need in the house. The kitchen is ready for a large dinner party. They have all the necessary appliances and kitchen gadgets.
There are new mini-split A/Cs in the bedrooms. They do a great job of cooling down those rooms in just a few minutes. They likely could cool the entire house too, if needed. But the trade winds blow right through the house and with the front and back doors open, you get lots of air blowing through the house. At night, you don't need the A/C in the living room. It is almost chilly with the trades blowing.
Our only complaint would be the lack of window coverings. The master bedroom had some, but not all of the windows covered. That was annoying and we had to use some towels to cover the windows to get some morning darkness. But you don't want to sleep late. You want to get up and go. Lots to do on Kauai!
Beautiful spot to spend some family time in Kauai. We loved the living room where we could chat and relax with a woderdul ocean view

Very nice location a bit off the beaten path but close to many amenities. Nice beaches to the north and south and a good base of operation for seeing the whole island. Would definitely return to this spot
