The ambience of the yurt was super adorable. Has all of the fixings you need for a secluded getaway. I wish they had let us know ahead of time of the construction occuring directly in front of the room and the yurt was in need of some general maintenance. That being said, I would stay here again and enthusiastically recommend it as well if they fixed up/addressed the things I've messaged them privately about.
Hi Gabrielle, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests and would like to share the following:
- I'm so glad you enjoyed the yurt! However, I do not own the rental/property in front, and wasn't aware of the construction to be able to inform you in advance. Thank you for understanding.
- My on-site maintenance man is constantly tending to everything like a revolving door so we appreciate your feedback!
Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
Upon arriving after a 6 hour drive, we entered a hot stuffy but tidy yert. It would have been nice to have had the AC on and to be welcomed by a cool room when you want to stretch out and rest after a long drive. It was cute, quirky, and unique, however, my partner was upset at the temp, the close quarters with neighbors and campers in campsites. You could hear the kids and campers even with the AC running and there was no TV to drown them out. He was expecting cool, quiet, comfy and refused to stay, so we lost the payment and had to book a room elsewhere.
