The property was perfect for our family, especially the 5 bedrooms. The kitchen was tight for all of us, but we managed fine. Since we are a boating and water family, we rented a boat and explored Lake Sinclair. The lake is amazing and we took advantage of all it had to offer. The house was the perfect location on the lake whether you wanted to explore North, South, East or West. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and learned a lot about beautiful Lake Sinclair.

Our family of 10 had a delightful 3-night 2-day stay in this beautiful home. Lots of space to spread out with outdoor and indoor activities to keep the 4 kids entertained while the adults relaxed on the outdoor deck around the gas firepit. Galley kitchen was smaller than expected but the upgraded appliances made cooking easy. The grade leading from the cabin to the boat was steeper than expected and challenging for any one with limited mobility but once down at the lake, the firepit and the wooden swing made the walk worthwhile. If you bring a boat larger than 14’, consider launching at Sinclair Marina and leaving the trailer there as the roads are narrow and the turns are tight for a long trailer. The cabin was clean, well appointed with beautiful lake views and plenty of seating indoors and out for a large family. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back and visit Oconee Springs park and catch a few more fish.

Our family of 10 had a delightful stay at this spacious, well appointed, well maintained and very clean cabin on the lake recently. The living areas were comfortable with porches overlooking the lake on two levels, one screened and the other open. Firewood was plentiful for the firepit near the lake and the grill. The upper level porch offered plenty of seating to view beautiful sunsets and a delightful lightning bug display with a gas firepit after dark.
Our family enjoys a more open kitchen design than the galley kitchen offered but was offset by the upgraded appliances and well equipped kitchenware. We appreciated the extras not found in most rentals such as trash bags, hand and dish soap, even plastic utensils which helped since we forgot ours.
The hosts were responsive via phone when contacted with a couple of last minute questions and they also provided the location of a boat ramp close to the cabin to avoid the 45 minute ride by car to Sinclair Marina.
We were glad we brought sufficient food and drinks for our stay as the closest stores are quite a distance away. Parking is sufficient for multiple cars but we were not able to access the property with our 24’ pontoon boat trailer due to the narrow streets and sharp turns into the property. The 14’ pontoon boat /trailer we also brought navigated the roads and driveway just fine, though, and we were happy to have it on the property with us.
The kids enjoyed the game room which provided entertainment while the adults enjoyed drinks on the deck! The dock was adequate for both boats and still provided room for swimming, fishing and kayaking. We appreciated the use of the host kayaks very much. If you are looking for a great getaway location with lots of room to spread out with lake access, this should be considered. We hope to come again soon!
Overall it was very nice and clean. Definitely way way more than 5 “we counted 12” cameras, 2 of which were facing towards the glass doors. You definitely feel watched. The only issues we found was the front door handle was loose and kept falling off and the umbrella was broken. Other then those small issues it was a very good experience.

William, we’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, we’d like to share the following:
-We've confirmed the listing states:
SECURITY CAMERA INFORMATION:
- Your safety matters. This property features 5 exterior security cameras, located at the boat dock and the front, back, and both sides of the house, all facing outward. They do not look into interior spaces
We only have four working cameras, the others aren’t working and were left when we purchased the cabin. None are facing the glass doors or windows. The cameras aren’t monitored and are necessary as we are not local to the area and are needed for security as we have a boat and jet skis that are there year-round. Unfortunately, our cabin has encountered damage from previous guests, so the cameras are needed, hence the broken umbrella
-We encourage guests to reach out to their guest contact while they are in residence with any issues so that they can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay. We would have sent our maintenance team to address the issue with the front door immediately
We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!
Beautiful place to make memories and great views of the lake! The house was very accommodating and the owners responded very quickly to all my questions! Thank you for sharing your “happy place”. My family and I had a great time!
