  We stayed 5 nights over the winter holidays. The home was perfect for our small family and well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Lise was a great host and made sure to check in on us to ensure we were having a great stay. We would happily stay here again.

• Sky Valley stay

  Overall the house we rented was okay. There was a strong musty smell in the house that never went away. The doors and windows didn’t have screens so we weren’t able to open them to let fresh air in. The master bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We weren’t able to sit out on the deck due to falling nuts that would have hit us. Also, know that Sky Valley has horrible cell phone service. So while we had good internet at the house, if we were on the golf course or at the recreation center, we had no service.

  - We were pleased to receive your response of satisfaction when we checked in with you during your stay and disappointed now that these issues or concerns were unexpressed. We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help. I myself, the homeowner am sensitive to smells, and I take great pride in ensuring the home is pristine for each guest, including inspection on the day of arrival. Ensuring cleanliness meets the highest standards and the home is left smelling clean and fresh. I removed the screens from the windows so my valued guests could enjoy the beauty of nature unimpeded.
  - It is true that we have acorn trees around the property and as with nature they go through their cycle and acorns will fall from the tree, although this is something outside of my control, I’m truly sorry this had a negative impact on your stay.
  - Sky Valley is the highest elevation in Ga. We have 5G service here, but some cellular providers have better service than others, and due to the location of the property, service can be intermittent.

  This property is amazing, from the views to the the cute house. Communication with the contact person was so easy and with immediate responses.The house is well stocked with everything you need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend everyone looking for a place to stay to check out this house and book it.

• Lovely Mountain Retreat!

  This home is beautiful and comfortable! We felt as if we were at home. Wonderful property with everything you need for a truly amazing getaway. All the amenities at your fingertips in a very relaxing and quiet environment. Close to inviting quaint mountain towns, waterfalls and hiking trails. We will definitely be back. The host is so accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the perfect mountain getaway!

• Sky Valley Golf Trip

  Beautiful property! Very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We were in Sky Valley to golf, so the house was very conveniently located. Lise was the perfect host—-she even let us know about stormy weather approaching and brought flashlights and candles in case we lost power.

  Would definitely book here again when in the area.
