Older, quiet neighborhood

It is Florida, so we killed a bunch of bugs in the house each day. Kitchen supplies are minimal. If you want to cook, the only thing available were a couple pots and pans. No oven dishes or trays, no dish towels, or potholders. Just bring basics with you if you want to use the kitchen.
The only real complaint we had was the beds. All of them appear homemade and all of them had broken crossbeams, causing the mattresses to slope to the middle. So much so that you slide into your partner and can hardly crawl out. Once proper beds are constructed or purchased, this will be a nice quiet home not too far from the beach.

Beautiful Home- worth renting
3/5 This home is worth renting. Check in was super easy. The house was equipped with the minimum necessities needed to get us started. Walmart and other stores were in close proximity to get other things. The pool, as stated in the check in binder, did have a few leaves in the pool but we didn’t have any issues removing them with the provided tool. “Daytona boardwalk” was about a twenty minute drive, but the beach itself was much closer.. just over the bridge. The only TV in the house was in the living room which wasn’t a big deal for me, but my son and nephews wished there were TVs in the bedrooms. Also, there were big ants throughout the home. I guess they were getting in from outside. I think a light pest service would help.
So why did I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️?
The check in binder stated that the AC must remain at 76 degrees or higher due to the unit potentially freezing. Keep in mind the temperature outside was in the high 90s, low 100s each day. The master bedroom and one other room had a ceiling fan, but it didn’t matter. The house was HOT. We were extremely uncomfortable the first two nights. I finally reached out to the point of contact on the third day and was told the binder needed to be updated and that we could adjust the air. We did and everything was fine afterwards, but if you decide to rent this home definitely inquire about the temperature upon arrival so you’re not sweating all night.

Great Location
5/5 This property is located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. The pool was refreshing, and the house was immaculate. All amenities were provided including and washer and dryer and we enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very communicative. Would stay at this property again when visiting Daytona area.

Great neighborhood
3/5 We loved the location of this house but upon arrival it wasn’t cleaned very well. We had to clean the pool and pool area. There was also bugs on the counters and in the bathroom. There an empty room that would have been nice if is was a games room. There was also no cable which was unfortunate as there wasn’t much to do on a rainy day.

- I work hard to provide all guests with an ideal experience, and I'm sorry some areas fell short of expectations.
- The pool is cleaned on a weekly basis, but it's difficult to fully prevent leaves and dirt from the surrounding area to fall into the pool. As soon as you reported your concern, I had the pool recleaned the same day.
- I will have the professional cleaner look into the issue with the critters. If pest control is needed, I’ll make arrangements.
- The listing does not advertise that cable is provided, but I'm sorry if this caught you off guard. The home has excellent WiFi and guests can connect to their own streaming services on the smart TV at their convenience.
The owner does all he can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
