5/5 The location is great for us. We have friends who live nearby. The house was perfect for us and our pets. A word of warning to those who follow us, they should have a book with facts about the area including restaurants, parks, and other amenities. It would have been really helpful if there were instructions for the five TV remote controls, only two of which seemed to do anything. The choice of channels, once I figured things out, was great with lots of streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku, Disney+, Paramount+, etc.I had to buy a battery for the garage door opener. I also bought a can opener (there wasn't one in the house). We had to borrow stemmed wine glasses.There are no microwavable dishes except for the Pyrex measuring cup I bought and left. The other dishes and cooking pots and pans are adequate. The gas grill was efficient. There was only one wash cloth for the showers, but the host did bring us some new ones.There were no dish towels. We bought a couple to leave.There are no pillows for the back bedroom.Other than the response we got for the wash cloths, the host was non-responsive to my emails.

Vacation 2022

Come prepared!
1/5 Before you get to the house, be sure to go to the store. When we arrived there were no paper towels in the kitchen, no soap for washing hands in the kitchen, no coffee, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, watered down soap (that was useless, like washing with water only) in the second bath, no washcloths in either bathroom, nothing to dry a dish with or drain in the kitchen, no pillowcases except found one in the master for a king pillow so the guest had to sleep on the pillow sham. I did text and email the rental agency and eventually they brought a 4-roll package of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, 2 shampoo/conditioner, and 2 shower gels with 2 tiny soap bars. The rental agency was mostly concerned about the grill being cleaned after use (2 emails and 1 text worth) which we did not use but it wasn’t clean when we got there so I took pictures as proof because if they blamed the dirty grill on the current occupants, it incurred additional charges. The property was nice. The pool was great, although dirty when we arrived and needed to be swept, but the pool people come on Wednesdays and they came and cleaned. So, be prepared there are no amenities with this house and don’t try to cook; there was hardly any cookware to use. Oh and they state “spices” in their description and you will need to either bring your own salt, pepper, etc. or buy them because there were none. Also coffee pot is there and coffee grinder, but no filters.

- As is standard in vacation rentals, we supply the necessary items such as soap and toilet paper. Once guests run out, they must purchase their own. We apologize if that caught you off guard
- We provide a starter set of shampoo and conditioner for our guests to use
- There are pillowcases on every pillow. We have shams that can be removed, leaving the pillowcases on
- Coffee and spices are not supplied. We will ensure that the listing reflects that accordingly. We apologize for any confusion

4/5 This was overall a good house. However the pool is weird, where the stairs are you walk very little and its very deep. When you go towards the end of the pool is not deep at all. Meaning that the middle part of the pool was the deepest, which is never like that. It was very uncomfortable. The house was very clean and well kept, no concerns there.
