Puppy on the beach
5/5 We had a great time. The dog loved his first time on the beach. Since we were almost the only people on the beach, it was great for us and the dog.
The house with all those window is amazing. When it was so hot we sat under the house and watched the water with a nice breeze. We also got to see a baby turtle make its way to the ocean. Just a perfect long weekend
RENTERS BEWARE!
1/5 It's was SOOOO Difficult to enjoy our stay, when the AC was being controlled by the owner. When we arrived, after a 6 hour drive, the temperature in the house was 84⁰ & the temperature outdoors was 102⁰ with heat index!! THE AC WAS TURNED OFF, despite expecting our arrival!! The owner would control the thermostat remotely and adjust the temperature to his liking...NOT ours!! The result was, that if we were outdoors for an extended period of time, we would return to a house with the temperature of 80⁰!! He monitored when we left & returned with surveillance cameras, which also made us feel uncomfortable. We were not able to enjoy the outdoor patio, because it would trigger the cameras, wich also had audio.

Hi Ana. The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- When you arrived to the property, the nest thermostat was in ECO mode. We do not control the temperature and guests are encouraged to adjust it to their comfort. Based on your feedback, the smart thermostat was replaced with a simple wall unit to make our guests feel more at ease. We're truly sorry if you were uncomfortable at any point during your stay.
- The listing does state that the home has exterior security cameras and none of the cameras are facing internally. It is common for vacation rentals to have security cameras for the safety of the property and guests. The front doorbell camera is motion activated. There are no video recordings, only snap shots of guests entering and leaving the house as is standard for doorbell cameras.
We truly go above and beyond and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!Perfect House!
