House is historic and old - updated here and there but could have been better beds upstairs as they were pretty uncomfortable.
The backyard and outdoor space was completely let go, overgrown, dirty and unusable.
Kitchen was sparsly stocked with mismatched things.
Cool historic home with some beautiful original features that needs some updates to it.
Narrow, steep stairway not mentioned (steps were, but not major stairway), Bedrooms upstairs tiny and hot. I felt like Tom Hanks from BIG in the tiny beds. The downstairs was lovely. The back yard was rock with lots of weeds and debris as well as a dangerous metal edging that made it unfunctional for the dog. The upstairs shower did not have hot water (or the faucet could not be set to allow for it), The laundry 'room' is a closet upstairs and a few more steps up in a tiny place. There was only a single glass glass... coffee mugs and a few plastic cups were there. No paper towels or towels in the kitchen. No signal on the television.

Bad neighborhood

The property was very clean. The house is old, but with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Very drafty on the 1st floor and hot on the second floor which made sleep uncomfortable. We had a problem trying to set the thermostat. There is a fireplace but no firewood. Overall, we did enjoy our stay with family and friends.

The house was quint and very clean. However the shared parking area and shared back yard created a bit of chaos. While the home had ample security I did not feel safe walking my dog in the neighborhood.
