Experience the quaint town of Fairplay like never before at this centrally located 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation rental! Boasting a colorful 1,900-square-foot interior with modern accents, a full kitchen, an electric fireplace, and 2 decks, this tri-plex townhouse has it all. Take a tour of the South Park City Museum just down the road, ride horses at the American Safari Ranch, or create an adventure of your own in the Rocky Mountains surrounding this beautiful Colorado home base!
When you're not dining at the townhome, be sure to enjoy one of the local eateries around town like Mason's High Country BBQ, Millonzi's, and the Brown Burro Cafe. This property is located just a short walk from everything Fairplay has to offer including the South Park Historical Foundation and brewing company.
Strap on your hiking boots and make the just over 14-mile drive to the Quandary Peak Trailhead (one of Colorado's infamous 14,000-foot peaks). Breckenridge is just a bit further along highway 9 and a fantastic spot for family-oriented entertainment, shopping, and a bustling downtown area!
Some other ideas for fun include fly fishing in one of the local streams, ATV or horse rides at the American Safari Ranch (located just under 8 miles away), and enjoying a scenic drive to historic Leadville.
We stayed here for a guys trip. Everything was perfect for what we needed.

Property was ideal for visiting family in Fairplay, stairs are a challenge with the altitude but overall a nice place and was as described. Granddaughter enjoyed staying with grandparents and was close by to family. Limited TV choices i.e. no live TV options was disappointing. Kitchen drawers and shelves slightly dirty, crumbs etc. in silverware trays, containers etc. Items of note was a water pipe sticking up among the stones/grass near the entry and is a trip hazard, likely needs marked with a flag or covered with a fake stone to avoid damaged toes. Additionally it is possible to lock yourself in the garage as the entry key does not unlock the door from the garage to the unit nor was the garage door opener operational at the time of visit. Overall an enjoyable experience and will be considered again when visiting.

Enjoyed the place, it was exactly as advertised and checking in and out was a breeze. Pros: Livingroom, dining area, and kitchen is beautiful and exactly like the pictures posted. There were plenty of dishes, silverwares, coffee, and tea ready for use. Wifi was strong and stable but had to reset a couple of times. The garage worked and helped save some time of cleaning the ice and snow off the car in the morning (total bonus). Decorations throughout the house was very warm and inviting. Cons: The beds and pillows were not comfortable, I felt like I was sinking into the bed. the pillows were too soft where the cotton would spread to the sides when we rested our head on it. None of the rooms had a lock on it...not even the bathroom. I was nervous when I had to use the restrooms, afraid someone may walk in on me. The house had 3 stories. first story is the garage and hallway to store shoes and skis. 2nd story is the living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony, and 1/2 bathroom. 3rd story is where all 3 bedrooms are along with the community bathroom and the master bathroom. We were already having a hard time catching our breath due to the high altitude, plus we had to walk up 2 flight of stairs. All in all, the place would've been more enjoyable if we weren't experiencing breathing issue (out of owner's control). We highly recommend the owners replacing door knobs with locks for privacy issues though.
